Photowalk Gothenburg October 2014
On October 4th I arranged a photo walk in Gothenburg together with some street photography friends. Over 200 people showed up and shot street photography together for three hours.
We gathered at twelve o'clock at Gustav Adolf Square. Equipped with megaphone, we greeted everyone welcome and informed the people about the day. All participants were given a map where the planned route was plotted. The goal was to finish in the pub John Scot's stable three hours later.
Our route started at Gustav Adolf Square, through Brunnsparken and Fredsgatan. Following Kungsgatan, Järntorget and the favorite district of Haga. Much happened on the way and many fantastic street photos were captured.
Photo walks are fun and very social. Many new contacts are made when both novices, professionals, young and old socialize with the common hobby of photography. The best part is to finish together over a beer or two.
Here's a collage of all the wonderful photographers who wanted to photo walk with us.
